Explore before choosing where to go

Use the map and geographic discovery options to look around your area or explore farther afield. Open a show to review the available details rather than choosing only by distance. Check event information with the organizer before making a special trip, especially when dates or arrangements may have changed.

Save shows and plan by destination and date

Save events you want to revisit. If you're traveling, Plan a Trip helps you explore shows around a destination and date. Think of it as a way to organize possibilities—not a ticket booking service or a promise that a particular card will be waiting.

See what participants expect to bring

At participating events, expected-card discovery can show cards collectors say they plan to bring. That can help you look for something specific before walking through the door, or notice a possible match to a saved search or Watchlist card.

Not every listed show has participating inventory. Expected cards represent plans, not a guarantee of arrival or availability. If a card matters to your trip, confirm it directly with the person sharing it before you make arrangements.

Understand eligible Live inventory

At eligible shows, collectors can Go Live after an allowed proximity check and make eligible cards discoverable in that event. Expected cards and Live inventory are different contexts; neither represents every card in the room.

The proximity check does not independently prove venue entry or physical possession of every listed card. Live participation is not continuous public tracking, and it does not show another collector's exact phone location.

Connect the show with the card you're chasing

When messaging access is available, use a conversation to ask about a card and agree on how to meet. Confirm availability, the meeting place, and any buy, sell, or trade details yourselves. CardFinder does not guarantee a transaction or provide per-card checkout, shipping, escrow, or payment protection.

CardFinder adds a discovery layer around a physical show; it isn't a replacement for the organizer's ticketing, table assignments, or event-management tools. Start with the cards you want, then see whether a show gives you a practical opportunity to pursue them.
